When you pray, do you know where you are praying from? According to Drunvalo Melchizedek, how you pray makes a difference. You may actually be creating what you don’t want if you are praying from the brain. So how do you know where you are praying from? Do you know how to pray effectively?
First, let’s talk about why it makes a difference. Before I took Drunvalo’s Living in the Heart workshop, I didn’t realize there was a different way to pray. I figured you send out what you want to happen to the God Source and if it’s meant to be, it will be.
More recently, I have been moving from an externalized God Source to an internalized one. But that is a topic for another blog…
Most of the world, I assume, prayers in similar ways. We ask for healing, peace, prosperity and love for others and ourselves. We ask for specific things. And we give thanks for what we already have. And yet, may of us don’t know how to pray effectively.
Now we come to some technicalities. We live in a world of polarity. There is peace, but there is war. There is love, but there is hate. There is wealth, but there is poverty. The brain is polarized.
Prayer is a form of creation. If you create from a polarized place, you must put your focus on one thing. When you do that, the other opposite thing doesn’t disappear, it just moves out of your attention. Prayer is a form of manifestation.
When you pray or manifest from the brain, what you create will be polarized. You will create both although your attention will only be focused on the one thing. That is why, according to Drunvalo, when we pray for peace, we do not create peace. We may create peace around us, but somewhere else, or later down the road for ourselves, we create war. This illustrates the need to learn how to pray effectively.
The heart is not in polarity. The heart is where unity consciousness is found. In the heart, there is only love. When you pray from the heart, you create from a singularity of love energy. Love energy cannot create war, poverty, hate, or lack.
Have you ever wanted something with all of your heart? Do you remember how it feels? When I pray/create from the heart space, there is an expansive heat that grows in my chest. The energy is light and uncomplicated.
Hold the feeling of love in your heart, put an intention with that feeling, and then send it out to the universe. You don’t need all the details that the brain provides.
When I pray/create from my brain, the energy is more directed. It feels heavier and tighter. You may perceive these two areas differently. Once you do, you’ll know when you are praying from the brain or the heart.
The funny thing is scientists have actually found that the heart has a brain. When they compare the electromagnetic field of the brain to the heart, scientists have found that the heart’s field is about 60 times stronger. The magnetic component by itself is about 5000 times stronger than the brain’s magnetic field.
Knowing this, would you rather pray from your brain or your heart?
