It was a success! Our first seance held at Historic Bovaird House in Brampton, Ontario drew a packed house. Even the ghosts of the house didn’t seem to mind the house full and noisy.
Most people don’t know what to expect from a real traditional seance. Unlike the psychics you see in Hollywood movies or on TV, our heads don’t spin, we don’t get possessed by evil spirits, and we don’t have sound effect and visual effect guys making up all the rappings and objects moving.
All the psychics and mediums that participate in our seances are the real deal – naturally talents and professionally trained. We aim to bust the urban myths about ghosts and spirits and show people the real point of convening with the spirit world. Hope, peace and guidance.
And to let you know that life after death really does exist. In the meantime, a little excitement never hurts either. Although we didn’t have any rambunctious ghost activity at Bovaird House, the lights did flicker, and some of our audience members saw the etheric energy build up over us as we showcased our trance techniques.
If you missed this one, you can still attend our upcoming event at Hart House in Toronto on October 30th, 2010. This is a bigger event with five psychic mediums from Canada and the US. Visit www.GhostlyHalloween.ca to find out more.
At Bovaird House we connected with a woman’s father who had died in a car accident, a hunter who used to hunt geese, an aunt who had problems with her leg and showed herself using a cane in life and buying kids ice-cream from a stand, and two dogs. These are the ones that stand out anyway.
All of the people who identified these spirits, were happy to know they were around them, and at peace on the other side. There was only one spirit that no one could take. That was a younger man who showed himself with a lunchbox and sandwiches. There were other identifiers for him, but no one could identify him. If you don’t know your family members, friends, neighbours and others in your life who have passed, then we thank them for coming and let them go.
As mediums, we don’t need to hold a seance to connect to them. We can use our psychic skills to do that in private sessions as well. A seance is one technique that comes from an old traditional way of working psychically that can still be relevant today.
