As we move through these times of ascension, I notice a theme emerging. It’s a struggle between the light and the dark. The stronger my light becomes, the more I am tested.
Each and every time, I have rejected the lure and promise of the darkness. I know no matter what is offered there is always a price to pay. But for some of my clients and other Light Workers, it’s been too tempting an offer to resist.
“My house is a house of light”, she said. Then she proceeded to yell at the housekeepers she had hired. “You have to talk to them this way. It’s the only way they understand.”
I was staying with a Shaman in Peru. She had hired some local women to cook and clean house while I was there. She was to take us on a sacred journey up in the small mountain beside her house.
As she called in the spirits that she worked with, I started to see a dark energy come through her. Whenever this happened, her face would look different. I soon realized that she did not know what was coming through her and that she assumed it was the light.
It was powerful. It promised her a special relationship. It told her of the fame that would soon come to her from writing her books.
She totally trusted it because that was what she wanted. She wanted the fame and the power. It was this desire that had attracted this darkness in the first place.
But the dark entity had left her with weakness. It used her energy and left her with recurring sickness. The darkness was looking for a successor – a fresh new battery. “Buy my place. You can do Reiki here. It’s time for me to move. I’m supposed to be famous.”
Of course the light would want her to share her knowledge. It would want her to shine brightly. But the light would not promise fame or being more powerful or special than others. For in the light’s eyes, we are all one. It will not feed the ego.
For others, it is a choice made with awareness. One client is drawn to witchcraft and ritual. He wants the success and money. I speak to him of the cost of purposely working with darker energy.
“Yes, yes”, he says. “I’ve been thinking about what you’ve said.” Although he agrees with me I can see that he is not convinced that he can do what he wants without it.
Why is it that we are so enticed by the dark when we know that there is always a string attached? I have felt the power of the darkness and understand how alluring it is. But I also feel the deception behind it.
The light, on the other hand, is just as powerful. It’s vibration is love and so to receive it and know it, we must open our hearts. What hard work that is! But oh, the rewards far outweigh anything that the dark could offer.
All things are as they should be as we co-create our world together. It is always a choice as to how we choose to navigate through this divine matrix. Eventually, we will all choose love in our own time.
Both light and shadow are the dance of Love.
Love has no cause, it is the astrolabe of God’s secrets.
Lover and loving are inseparable and timeless.
Although I may try to describe love,
when I experience it, I am speechless.
Although I may try to write about love, I am rendered helpless.
My pen breaks, and the paper slips away
at the ineffable place where lover loving and loved are one.
Every moment is made glorious by the light of Love.
